Friender Completes SOC 2 Type II Audit with Zero Exceptions
Friender has completed its SOC 2 Type II audit with zero exceptions. The audit, conducted by an independent third-party firm, evaluated Friender’s security controls across the Trust Services Criteria for security, availability, and confidentiality over a six-month observation period.
SOC 2 Type II is considered the gold standard for enterprise SaaS security validation. Unlike Type I audits, which evaluate control design at a point in time, Type II audits verify that controls are operating effectively over an extended period. The zero-exception result means that every control evaluated was found to be functioning as designed throughout the entire audit window.
Why this matters for operational intelligence
Friender’s platform connects to some of the most sensitive operational systems in enterprise environments: communication platforms, project management tools, CRM systems, and HR platforms. The data flowing through these integrations — meeting transcripts, workflow patterns, team coordination dynamics — is inherently sensitive.
SOC 2 Type II certification provides Friender’s customers with independent assurance that this data is handled with the rigor their security teams require. Combined with ISO 27001 certification for information security management and ISO 42001 certification for AI governance, Friender now holds the most comprehensive security certification portfolio in the operational intelligence category.
Continuous compliance
Friender maintains its security posture through continuous monitoring, automated vulnerability scanning, and annual third-party penetration testing. The SOC 2 Type II audit will be renewed annually, with reports available to customers and prospects upon request through Friender’s trust center.
