1. Assessment Objective
The objective of a Friender assessment is to identify the workflows most suitable for AI intervention, explain why they matter, estimate potential value, and package the result in a form that can be deployed or actioned. The methodology is designed to reduce guesswork and avoid recommending AI on hype alone.
2. Evidence Model
Friender evaluates workflows through three evidence layers that strengthen each other when they align:

3. Four Assessment Phases
Observe
Friender establishes the operational baseline by connecting to relevant systems and assembling a timeline of work movement, roles, dependencies, and delays.
Interpret
Friender combines behavioral evidence with human context to determine what the workflow actually represents, where hidden constraints exist, and which exceptions are meaningful rather than random.
Prioritize
Each opportunity is ranked against fit, value, feasibility, and confidence. High-value workflows with weak data or unstable governance may be deferred; medium-value workflows with stronger fit may move ahead sooner.
Package
Friender converts the result into operating assets such as workflow maps, deployment candidates, implementation logic, ROI estimates, and decision-ready summaries.
4. Opportunity Scoring Logic
Friender does not rely on a single score. Instead, opportunities are evaluated across distinct dimensions that can be explained to operators, product leaders, and buyers:
- Fit: Is the workflow structured, repetitive, and decision-bounded enough for AI?
- Value: Does fixing it remove meaningful cost, latency, risk, or coordination waste?
- Feasibility: Are the systems, permissions, data quality, and operating constraints sufficient?
- Confidence: Do multiple evidence sources point to the same conclusion?
Opportunities with strong value but weak fit are usually framed as process redesign or instrumentation needs rather than immediate AI deployment. Opportunities with strong fit but weak value are typically deprioritized.
5. Validation and Human Review
Friender uses a human review layer before converting findings into customer-facing recommendations. This review checks whether the evidence is coherent, whether the recommendation fits the customer's actual operating constraints, and whether the proposed output is clear enough to act on.
Where evidence is mixed or limited, Friender may classify an item as exploratory rather than deployment-ready. The methodology is intentionally designed to show uncertainty instead of hiding it behind a polished score.
6. ROI Modeling
ROI analysis is grounded in the observed workflow and the practical cost of intervention. The goal is not to produce inflated value claims; it is to estimate whether the workflow is worth changing and what kind of savings or leverage the customer could reasonably expect if the recommendation is implemented well.
- Observed baseline time, latency, volume, and handoff data
- Role assumptions or customer-provided labor inputs where available
- Expected lift based on similar patterns and deployment experience
- Operational constraints that may reduce or delay realized benefit
Friender treats modeled ROI as a decision aid, not a guarantee. Realized savings depend on adoption, governance, exception handling, and deployment quality.
7. Deliverables
Depending on scope, Friender may deliver workflow maps, system readouts, prioritized opportunity sets, AI readiness scoring, deployment briefs, ROI views, or implementation guidance. The deliverable package is intended to survive the assessment itself and remain useful after the engagement ends.
8. Limits and Exclusions
Friender's methodology is strongest when a workflow leaves enough signal across tools and stakeholders to be observed and interpreted. Results may be less reliable where work is mostly offline, intentionally untracked, highly political, legally constrained, or changing faster than the observation window can capture.
