How Friender Assess Works
A four-phase process that turns operational observation into actionable AI strategy — without disrupting your team.
Overview
Friender Assess is a structured engagement designed to understand how your organization actually operates — not how org charts say it should. We deploy lightweight observation agents across your existing tools, map the real flow of work, diagnose bottlenecks, and deliver a complete AI readiness report with ROI projections.
The entire process takes approximately six weeks and requires no engineering effort from your team. Every integration uses OAuth with read-only permissions.
Phase 1: Connect & Observe
During the first week, we connect to your team's existing tools — Slack, Jira, GitHub, Google Calendar, Salesforce, and more. Our observation agents begin collecting metadata: message volumes, ticket lifecycle patterns, code review cadence, and meeting frequency.
- Read-only OAuth connections — we never modify your systems
- 47+ supported integrations across communication, project management, development, and CRM platforms
- No PII collected — only metadata and aggregate patterns
- Most teams are fully connected within 24 hours
Phase 2: Map Workflows
Over weeks two and three, our mapping engine correlates data across all connected tools to build a comprehensive picture of how work actually flows through your organization. We identify handoff points, communication patterns, decision bottlenecks, and hidden dependencies.
- Cross-tool workflow correlation (e.g., Slack conversation → Jira ticket → PR → deployment)
- Team interaction mapping — who communicates with whom, and about what
- Bottleneck identification at process, team, and individual level
- Cycle time analysis for key operational workflows
Phase 3: Diagnose & Analyze
During weeks three and four, the Friender diagnosis engine analyzes the mapped workflows against our research database of 200+ operational patterns across industries. We identify where AI agents can have the highest impact, estimate time savings, and model ROI.
- Pattern matching against our industry research database
- AI opportunity scoring for each identified bottleneck
- Time-savings estimation based on comparable deployments
- Risk and complexity assessment for each recommendation
Phase 4: Report & Recommend
At the end of week six, you receive a comprehensive intelligence report that includes everything your leadership team needs to make informed decisions about AI adoption. The report covers:
- Executive summary with top-level findings
- Detailed workflow maps with annotated bottlenecks
- Ranked AI opportunity list with impact and effort estimates
- 12-month ROI projections with sensitivity analysis
- Implementation roadmap with phased recommendations
What Happens Next?
The assessment report is yours to keep regardless of what you decide. You can take the recommendations and implement them internally, or work with Friender to architect and deploy purpose-built AI agents. Learn more about our methodology or see how we protect your data and privacy.
